Mercedes-Benz will show off its new GLC Coupe next week at the 2016 New York Auto Show.
A video showing a prototype version of the midsize crossover testing has been released by the brand, showing a GLC coupe prototype sliding around a racetrack. This model will compete with the BMW X4, which is also a coupe-styled crossover with four doors.
Besides the more sculpted rear end, the GLC coupe will likely offer the same engine options and equipment as the standard GLC. Base models of the GLC come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine which makes 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, while a new GLC43 AMG model is also likely for the coupe, packing 362 hop and 384 lb-ft of torque.
