GMC has released a full photo of the new 2017 Sierra Denali 2500, but the brand is being cagey about what’s under the hood.

In the photo, we see a new hood scoop had been added to the truck which GMC says is “functional” and is “hinting at what is beneath.”

It’s most likely that some changes are coming to the existing 6.6-liter Duramax to boost its power output, but GMC just might have a trick up its sleeve with a new engine offering. The current Duramax diesel used in the truck makes 765 lb-ft of torque, a rating that is outdone by the competition’s heavy duty pickups.

Details on exactly what will power the 2017 GM heavy duty pickup trucks will be release in the coming months.
