Audi is sending a strong message with its latest ad.

The commercial comes from Audi Spain and is titled “The Doll That Chose to Drive,” with a Barbie-like figurine climbing into the driver’s seat of an Audi R8. Along with the highly detailed animation that seemingly mimics a Disney or Pixar movie, the commercial also establishes its motive of breaking down gender stereotyping. There are subtle hints throughout the video, including its play on contrasting pink and blue elements.

The ad was made for Christmas season and broadcast on TV, in theaters, on YouTube and across social media and generated over one million views in just three days. As part of the campaign, limited edition versions of the Audi R8 and doll were also given away at no cost.

No other car brand needs commercials with little boys picking up girl dolls to play with. Not even FUBARu and MINI.
