A dedicated evangelical hypermiler in California has just squeezed out more than 300 miles from his Chevrolet Bolt EV on a single charge.

Beating the EPA’s 238-mile range estimate was no easy task. Spread out over 100 freeway and 200 city miles, Glenn Williams achieved this astonishing figure in near perfect conditions, while 50 and 60-degree temperatures around Los Angeles negated the need for climate control.

This was expected. GM EVs always give better EV range than the official EPA rating, since many Chevy Volt owners have passed 50 miles of EV range against the EPA rated 38 miles. Now someone will get a new Chevy Bolr EV range record, as a Chevy Spark EV owner did, getting 139 miles of range. I don't see the fictional TM Model 3 even reaching 240 miles, and it will never cost less than the Chevy Bolt EV.
