The all-new 2019 Audi A7 has leaked online in a rather unconventional manner – through a scale model.

The image of the model was originally discovered by Dutch automotive enthusiast site AutoWeek.nl. While not of the next-generation A7 itself, the photo reveals what the new A7 will look like. Not surprisingly, the design is evolutionary rather than revolutionary, retaining the same fastback shape as the current A7 but implementing the widened, single-frame grille of the new Audi A8.

While not much is known about the new A7, the recently unveiled A8 gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect. It should arrive with Audi’s SAE Level 3 autonomous driving system with traffic jam assist, which debuted on the A8. We’re also expecting Audi’s 3.0-liter turbocharged gas V6 to be offered from launch, which makes 340 horsepower in the A8, along with its 460 horsepower twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. A hybrid with a 48-volt electric drive system should also be available.

We’re expecting the 2019 Audi A7 to make its official debut in early October at an event in Munich.
