Mercedes-AMG has released its official set of teaser photos of the AMG GT Four Door wearing some interesting camouflage.
The official photos come just a day after our spy photographers caught the same prototype while cold weather testing. Wearing bright yellow, almost neon green flames, the camouflage actually shows off most of the styling for the upcoming sports sedan. The German automaker has confirmed the AMG GT Four Door will bow at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show on March 6, so it won’t be long until we learn everything about it.
It is expected to be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that’s used in other AMG models, including the AMG GT Coupe. Eventually a hybrid version will join the lineup, with a powertrain that could deliver up to 805 horsepower. Look for the non-hybrid model to come standard with rear-wheel drive, but offer all-wheel drive as an option. The hybrid model however, will likely be all-wheel drive only.
Don’t be surprised to see more teasers from Mercedes-AMG in the coming weeks, leading up to the model’s debut.
