The 2019 Ram 1500 Kentucky Derby Edition has landed ahead of the 144th running of the Kentucky Derby in May.

Ram has been a longtime supporter of the Kentucky Derby and Churchill Downs, with 2018 marking the ninth consecutive year the truck maker has sponsored the horse race. The Ram 1500 Kentucky Derby Edition is therefore long overdue, but with some equestrian-inspired equipment, it should please both Ram and horse racing fans alike.

The 2019 Ram 1500 Kentucky Derby Edition is based on the well-equipped Ram 1500 Limited. Set apart by its Kentucky Derby “Run for the Roses” fender graphics, the truck will also come with a 12-inch UConnect touchscreen, four-corner air suspension, power retracting running boards, a trailer hitch with sway control and blind spot monitoring with trailer detection. Also standard are premium full-leather seats, heated and cooled rear seats and genuine wood and metal interior trim.

The base price for the 2019 Ram 1500 Kentucky Derby Edition is $54,835, including $1,645 in destination. The truck is on sale now, and just 2,000 examples will be built. The truck will also be displayed at Churchill Downs during the Kentucky Derby, which will be held at Churchill Downs on May 5th.

They have completely ruined the look of the DODGE trucks now to make them just blend in with the rest of the pickups from the other makers.

Agreed, it makes me think "Toyota" when I see that new face. So thankful for and happy with my 2016!
