Lucid Air Prices Fall $12K+ In Just A Year

This week, Lucid announced yet more price cuts to its Air sedan. The air has seen sweeping cuts over the last year as the company struggles to claw back ground lost to competitors like the Tesla Model S and Mercedes EQS. With this most recent round of cuts, Lucid has seen the price of its Air Pure model fall $12,500 since last year, with the Air Touring falling a staggering $17,100 from its previous MSRP.

This time around, Lucid has cut the price of the Air Pure down to $71,400 from $78,900, and the price of the Air Touring to $79,400 from $87,400. The brand has also reduced the price of the range-topping Lucid Air Sapphire, though only by $300 to $250,500. What’s more, Lucid’s vehicles are still not able to qualify for the $7,500 EV tax credit, though lessees can take advantage thanks to a loophole in the government’s regulations.
