The Adorable 3-Wheel Electric Car We'd Actually Drive

Estonia-based startup Nobe has unveiled the Nobe 100, a cute three-wheel electric car.

Now the subject of a FundedByMe crowdfunding campaign, the neo-retro Nobe, a quirky two-seater with MINI and Volkswagen styling cues minus a tire, runs up to 136 miles on a single charge with a top speed of roughly 68 mph. Its full charging time is two hours with an extra portable battery, described as an urban trekker designed to navigate through tight spaces, hit with tight turning circles and fitting into small paThe vehicle is also described as “autonomous ready” with no additional details.

“Our aim with the Nobe 100 is to create something so effortlessly stylish that you want to lick it, while at the same time having an unparalleled effect on the impact of city traffic on the planet,” said Roman Mulkar, Nobe CEO, in a statement. “We wanted to fuse together personality and conscience, not just inventing a more sustainable way to get around cities, but also making it a more exciting and charismatic experience than a petrol vehicle.”

As of this writing, the Nobe 100’s crowdfunding page has received 34 investors, vying for a 1 percent to 13 percent stake in the company equal in value between $69,000 to $1.06-million, with a minimum investment of its per-share price of $142. The campaign closes once the investment goal has been reached or on July 14, 2018, whichever comes first.
