The new Toyota Supra may debut this month.

The Japanese automaker sent out a tweet today indicating the new Supra will debut at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed next week. The tweet was accompanied by a photo of a camouflaged Supra prototype with ‘A90’ incorporated into the vinyl wrap and the Gazoo Racing logo on the doors.

The ‘A90’ nomenclature is the production code for the new Supra, with the fourth-generation Supra having been referred to as the A80. The third-generation car was called the A80, while the second was the A70 and the first the A40.

Toyota has managed to keep official information on the new Supra under wraps, but we do know it will share a platform with the new BMW Z4. Rumors point to the sports car receiving a BMW-sourced twin-turbocharged inline-six engine, which should make 335-400 hp in the sports car, along with an automatic transmission. Whether or not a manual Supra will be offered remains unknown but enthusiasts have their fingers crossed for it, naturally.
