Carroll Shelby Says 2011 Mustang GT350 May Be His Last

The value of the 2011 Shelby GT350 has just gone through the roof, as legendary racer and tuner Carroll Shelby has admitted the car may be his last. But don’t worry performance fans, 87-year-old Shelby isn’t ready to retire just yet. Instead Shelby is looking to focus more on the parts business, rather than selling whole cars from his Shelby American performance facility in Las Vegas.

Shelby GT350 Returns Based on 2011 5.0-Liter Mustang GT

Carroll Shelby’s own tuning company Shelby American has announced the return of the GT350 model, debuting it at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale 45 years after the original GT350 was released.
