Toyota GR Supra GT4 100th Edition is Incredibly Exclusive (and Pricey)
Toyota’s just made the ultimate Supra.
The Toyota Supra is no doubt a beast, and the GT4 race car takes that to an all-new level. But, Toyota’s gone one step further, and made a special collectors edition of its customer race car: the Toyota GR Supra GT4 100th Editon Tribute. This limited run of three cars, celebrates the the 100th Supra GT4 made and the success of the GT4 Toyota Supra.
This new edition starts life as the same GR Supra GT4 EVO. Toyota has painted the 100th Edition a special Plasma Orange color and made the front hood vent larger. The body kit has been tweaked to provide more front downforce, too. The mirrors are carbon fiber, and it has special LED headlights exclusive to this model. Also, unlike the purebred race car Supra GT4, this special edition gains a passenger seat.
Inside, the Supra gets special “100th Edtion Tribute” badges on the seats, dashboard, and on a car cover included with the Supra’s purchase.
The Supra’s mechanicals are largely the same as the standard GT4 model, save for the new muffler-less exhaust system that Toyota says is designed to “amplify the satisfying, throaty roar of the 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine.”
This limited-edition, goodness doesn’t come cheap. This car will cost 220,000 EUR (about $320,000 CAD or $236,000 USD). Despite the addition of on-road niceties like a passenger seat, Toyota says the GT4 100th Edition Tribute isn’t homologated for on-road use. This means it’ll have to live its life solely as a track toy, sorry.
Toyota will only make three, one for Europe, one for Asia, and one for North America.
