SEMA 2010: Toyota Sienna Swagger Wagon Has Family Appeal, Vegas Style
Looking like a luxurious RV inside and a pimp Vegas stretched limo outside, Toyota couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue than the annual SEMA Show to unveil its Sienna Swagger Wagon Supreme.
The stretched Sienna takes Toyota’s new ‘Swagger Wagon’ to the extreme, after their viral music video of the stock van garnered over 7 million views on YouTube.
Keeping true to the van’s motto “always for kids, now for parents too” the van has been stretched by four feet and includes a custom acrylic roof to bring plenty of natural sunlight into the cabin. Toyota insists it’s daily drivable thanks to an air suspension that allows anywhere from 2.5-inches to 6.5-inches of ground clearance. Outside, it rolls on 20-inch KMC wheels and includes some very custom bodywork with shaved door handles, a custom rear spoiler and some chrome exhaust tips. Plus, it’s been coated in a beautiful Blue Swagger Opal paint.
Inside the spacious cabin gets swiveling captain’s chairs, a massaging chair and a hideaway table. Plus the interior can be transformed from classy to kid-friendly thanks to seat cushions that are leather-coated on one side, with bright colors on the other. But that’s not all, the Swagger Wagon Supreme also gets cherry veneer cabinets, with a glass-front fridge, and a countertop section. And to make the space more livable, the floor was lowered to allow for easy walk-in. And that floor – coated in Brazilian cherry hardwood.
Let’s not forget the entertainment system either (what minivan would be complete without one). The Sienna gets a 23-inch HP TouchSmart computer, Xbox 360 and a wild JBL audio system with 1,700 watts of power.
Toyota has announced that along with the SEMA Show, it will bring the new Swagger Wagon Supreme to the LA, Detroit and Chicago auto shows.
