Buying incentives normally go hand-in-hand with buying a new car, but Hyundai taking a slightly different approach by offering perks to pre-owned buyers.

Announcing its plan to offer three months of SiriusXM Satellite Radio on cars with factory-installed systems, the automaker is trying to make it more tempting to buy one if its used vehicles.

“Hyundai is dedicated to its dealers and customers and this is just one more way for us to go one step beyond by offering customers not only an attractive selection of Certified Hyundai, pre-owned Hyundai and non-Hyundai vehicles, but to include a three-month subscription for SiriusXM,” Jose Froehlich, Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned manager said.

It’s unusual for a used car, but customers buying a certified pre-owned Hyundai will now have a trial subscription to the service.
