A 2009 GT500KR that was originally titled to the man Carroll Shelby himself, will be heading to the Vicari’s Biloxi auction on October 7th-14th, 2012.

It’s really no surprise that Shelby-owned vehicles are now hitting the auction block after his passing, and this GT500KR looks to be a great one to add to any collection. Numbered 445, the vehicle only sports 1600 miles on the odometer and features Shelby’s autograph on the dash, and the bill of sale from Shelby himself.

The current owner bought it as an investment piece, and it has been a complete show car since then. The 2008-2009 Ford Shelby GT500KR featured a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 with 540-hp and 510 lb-ft of torque, with a total of 1,712 units produced for distribution in America and Canada. It featured a carbon fiber hood, splitter, mirror caps, and functioning brake ducts. The original starting price for the GT500KR was $120,000.
