With more than 50 million people estimated to watch the annual Macy’s Parade in New York City today, GMC is cashing in on the advertising opportunity.

No, it’s not a larger-than-life float of the brand’s vehicles. Instead, the more luxurious wing of General Motors’ utilitarian SUVs and trucks is this year’s official vehicle sponsor. More than 50 trucks SUVs and crossovers helped both in preparation and operation of the parade for the 32nd consecutive year.

Among the vehicles volunteered for the event, 55 began work in Manhattan before dawn this morning including two 2013 Acadia Denali crossovers, 13 Sierra pickup trucks and 40 Yukon SUVs including hybrid models.
