$120K Tesla Cybertruck Special Edition Comes With Early Delivery

That's double the angular truck's starting price.

Tesla Cybertruck reservation holders are claiming they have been asked to configure Cybertruck Founders Series trucks, which start at more than $120,000, and top out at more than $135K before incentives. 1,000 will be made, and the announcement brought to reservation holders says that delivery could happen as early as the end of this month. It appears a number of these trucks are ready to go, as the ones we saw rolling off the factory floor during the truck’s delivery event were part of the 1,000-truck Foundation Series.

Tesla’s announcement has little to say about the specifications of these trucks, and as the brand has no media department for contact, we’ll have to go with what is mentioned in the announcement. The trucks are apparently “fully optioned,” which likely means the tri-motor, all-wheel drive, 845-hp Cyberbeast trim is the starting point. Other changes, per the announcement, are as follows: “limited-edition laser-etched badging, premium accessories, charging equipment with Powershare home backup hardware, all-terrain tires, Full-Self Driving capability, and more.”

It’s worth noting that while Tesla says deliveries have begun in both California and Texas, more states will be getting deliveries in 2024. We’re guessing that means hopes for 2023 delivery are limited to those taking delivery within those states, which both happen to contain Tesla factories.
