It’s hard for a Porsche to go by unnoticed, but the German car maker quietly debuted the 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.

With little to no fanfare, the 550-hp Porsche Cayenne Turbo S sits on the show-room floor, with its V8 bi-turbo engine ready to make some noise at the turn of a key.

Thanks to an active all-wheel drive system and a smooth 8-speed transmission, the Cayenne Turbo S launches to 60-mph in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 176 mph.

Aside from raw power, the Cayenne offers two interior color combinations: a black and red setup and black and beige look. The model on the show floor sported the red interior, which looked great alongside the carbon fiber highlights.

A feature exclusive to the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is its dynamic light system plus, which is also available with black bi-xenon headlights. This system allows automatic high beam control, to prevent oncoming traffic getting blinded by your high beams.
