Want to get a closer look at the brand new high-performance Porsche 911? While we were lucky enough to see it at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Americans can get up close and personal with the new GT3 at the 2013 New York Auto Show, starting later this week.

The new fifth-generation 911 GT3 is considered to be the sportiest model of the iconic 911 family. Porsche is boasting a sub-7 minute 30 second lap time of the Nürburgring. Apart from lap times, the car can now blast to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, and hit a top track speed of 195 mph. Developed and fine-tuned on the track, the new GT3 brings the exhilaration of a sports car to everyday driving.

Porsche is also celebrating 50 years of the 911 model this year and will bring the iconic 1967 Porsche 911 to the states in August for the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Monterey, CA.
