The new BMW X4 crossover has been caught testing numerous times, and now we know that the new German crossover will make its public debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

The X4 is based on the smaller X3, but it offers coupe-like styling, similar to that found on the BMW X6. The German brand has already shown off an X4 Concept (seen above), the design of which isn’t expected to change much when the production vehicle is unveiled.

Although specs are not yet available, the X4 is likely to use the same engines available in the X3, namely a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo that makes 240 hp and at least one six-cylinder motor with at least 300hp.

The Geneva Motor Show media days will take place on March fourth and fifth of 2014, and AutoGuide will be there live to bring you all of the details.
