Chevrolet will have plenty to show off at the 2013 SEMA Show, one of which is the Jeff Gordon SS Performance sedan concept, which was unveiled the night before the show officially kicks off.

With input from the number-24 driver himself, the all-new SS got restyled to reflect Jeff Gordon’s style and the performance credentials of the new rear-wheel-drive performance sedan. A matte red exterior has been complemented with number-24 graphics, 20-inch wheels, a carbon fiber rear spoiler and a custom front grille.

It also has a more aggressive stance thanks to lowered suspension while braking performance has been upgraded with larger brakes and the SS has a throatier note thanks to a Borla exhaust system. Inside, the Jeff Gordon SS Performance concept gets perforated suede seat inserts with embroidered headrests and a racing-style, flat-bottom steering wheel with Chevrolet Accessories pedal kit.

The engine has been left untouched, with the factory 6.2-liter V8 LS3 engine with 415 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque impressive enough all on its own.
