Mercedes-Benz is marking the end of its first model completely built by performance arm AMG with a special model unveiled today.

Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG (V 222) 2013, Lack: anthrazitblau metallic SLS AMG GT FINAL EDITION (R 197) 2013, Lack: desigo mysticweiSs 2, Interieur: designo Leder Exklusiv (schwarz)
Several variations on Mercedes’ supercar have crossed auto show floors on their way to customer garages including the gullwing door coupe model, the convertible, the GT and the Black Series first seen during last year’s L.A. Auto Show. Called the Final Edition, Mercedes is limiting the last run of its large and powerful SLS to only 350 units.

The same 583-hp 6.2-liter V8 sends power to the rear wheels, but Mercedes hasn’t said much more. The Final Edition will, however, be offered in both coupe and roadster variants. There’s no word on what the split between coupe and convertible models will be within the production run. The car will fully debut next week on Wednesday during Mercedes’ press conference at the show.
