2015 Kia Soul EV Video, First Look

At the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, Kia unveiled its 2015 Soul EV for the North American market.

The Kia Soul EV will initially be sold in select markets including California, Oregon, New York, New Jersey and Maryland. Availability will expand, according to the Korean automaker, based on charging infrastructure growth and demand.

Estimated range for the Kia Soul EV is 80 to 100 miles and the vehicle uses regenerative braking with variable modes for charging. The electric powertrain makes 109 hp and 210 lb-ft of torque with top speed limited to 90 mph.
