First rumored to be called the Jeep Jeepster, the baby SUV model that will share a Fiat platform could carry the Laredo nameplate.

The vehicle is still unnamed and will be Jeep’s first model built outside the U.S. at Fiat’s plant in Melfi, Italy. Set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show, the baby Jeep model will go on sale in Europe this summer before heading to the U.S. later this year. According to sources, the Jeep could be called the Laredo, an iconic name for the brand that has been used in entry-level Jeep models.
