Dodge is bringing all-wheel drive to its V6-powered SE-trimmed Journey, which will carry a base price of $25,890 (including destination costs).

That makes all-wheel drive slightly more affordable in the Journey, taking $1,800 off of the admission point for the improved-traction system, as previously, Journey buyers had to go for the SXT trim to be able to equip all-wheel drive.

Within the lineup, the SE trim is second from the bottom, and brings with it 17-inch wheels, a 4.3-inch touchscreen that runs Chrysler’s Uconnect, keyless entry, push button start, power windows and power door locks.

Base models are equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 177 hp and 166 lb-ft of torque, though a 283 hp 3.6-liter V6 is also available, and must be fitted to get all-wheel drive.
