Ferrari World is a theme park inspired by cars from the prancing horse brand, and now the number of locations is set to expand from one to two.

Ferrari, in partnership with PortAventura Entertainment, have put together a deal to build a new park, called Ferrari Land, inside a resort near Barcelona, Spain. This follows the first Ferrari theme park, known as Ferrari World, located in Abu Dhabi, which also lays claim to being the largest indoor theme park in the world.

Ferrari Land will span 807,000 square feet, and include a record-setting roller coaster that will be the highest and fastest in all of Europe. A driving simulator will also be part of the fun, and the entire park will be connected to a Ferrari-themed resort with 250 rooms.

The existing PortAventura resort is already a large attraction, drawing in about four million visitors each year. The entire project is estimated to cost about 100 million Euros, and is supposed to be completed in 2016.
