The updates to MINI’s lineup keep on coming, as the 2015 Paceman has debuted at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.

The 2015 MINI Countryman debuted at the 2014 New York Auto Show, while the 2015 Paceman model bowed in Beijing this week. The 2015 Paceman will launch this July and will also be joined by the new edition of the MINI John Cooper Works Paceman. As expected, the Paceman received a similar facelift design as the Hardtop and Countryman and will launch with four different powerplants – two gasoline, two diesel. All four engines will be four-cylinders powerplants with the JCW model sporting a 1.6-liter turbocharged unit with 218 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque.

The standard Paceman model will come with a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 122 hp and 118 lb-ft of torque. The MINI Cooper S Paceman will be available with ALL4 all-wheel drive.

As for the diesel offerings, the MINI Cooper D Paceman will come with a 1.6-liter turbocharged diesel engine with 112 hp and 199 lb-ft of torque. The more powerful MINI Cooper SD Paceman will pack a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel with 143 hp and 225 lb-ft of torque. Both diesel-model Pacemans will be available in ALL4 trim.

Minor note, but the redesign of the Paceman is not similar to the redesign of the Hardtop. One is a mid lifecycle refresh, the other is a new generation all together.
