BMW‘s first all-electric vehicle is finally available, but only for a select few.

Starting today, the BMW i3 Electronaut Edition is available to ActiveE Electronauts as a limited edition launch model.

Don’t know what an ActiveE Electronaut is? You’re not alone. Only 700 of them exist in the world. They’re the 700 folks who leased the ActiveE, which, if you recall, was BMW’s electrified 1 Series.

The standard production i3 will follow at a later date. Standard on the BMW i3 Electronaut Edition are heated front seats, DC Fast Charging (SAE), exclusive interior and exterior badges, BMW i accessory floormats, custom license plate frames in BMW i blue and a custom embroidered board bag.

As for pricing, the total MSRP of the Electronaut Edition package will be set at $1,750 but is free of charge to the Electronaut.
