The Ford Transit Connect Wagon is as safe as can be, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

NHTSA has awarded the 2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon with a five-star Overall Vehicle Score in its New Car Assessment Program. The European version of the Transit Connect Wagon, known as the Tourneo Connect, previously earned a five-star rating from the European New Car Assessment Program. The Ford Transit Connect Wagon is available in either five- or seven-passenger form and went on sale in the U.S. earlier this year.
