New Dodge Charger Ad Pokes Fun at Volkswagen
Dodge is hoping its new Charger SRT Hellcat will bring more attention to its sedan.
For those not exactly in the market for a 707 hp sedan but who certainly love the way the Charger looks and performs, the American automaker does offer a model with a HEMI V8 packing 470 hp. In the latest ad for the Dodge Charger, titled “I Wish,” the company takes a light jab at Volkswagen and its Passat. Wait, what does a Passat have to do with a Charger?

Nothing really, since on paper there’s hardly any car shoppers that would be considering both vehicles at the same time. Nonetheless, they both sport four doors and are in the same price range, but similarities really end there.
Watch the ad for a good chuckle. . . unless you own a Passat.
