Nearly 1.9-million GM vehicle owners will be receiving a letter from the American automaker’s CEO.

Mary Barra has sent out letters to all the owners affected by the massive ignition switch recall, urging them to complete repairs on their vehicles to make them safe. One letter has been sent to over one-million owners who have still not ordered parts through their dealer or online while a different letter went to 875,000 owners who have placed parts orders but still haven’t gotten their vehicles fixed. The letters also included information about the compensation fund for victims and families harmed by the defective ignition switches.
