To combat poor sales, Dodge is sweetening the deal for buyers by taking a chunk off the price tag for its halo sports car.

About 600 Dodge Vipers that are currently unsold on dealer lots are getting $15,000 cut from their sticker price, bringing the starting price to roughly $88,990 based on 2014 pricing. The brand will also offers its customers $15,000 coupons if they are willing to trade in their 2013 or 2014 Viper for another one of the sports cars, or an extra one. That coupon is on and above the $15,000 price reduction, which means existing customers will get $30,000 off the price tag.

The Viper was originally sold under the standalone SRT brand, which has now been folded back under the Dodge banner. That means that the Viper will also now be sold in all Dodge dealerships.

For 2015, the car received a power boost along with a new trim level, another tactic to boost sales. The 8.4-liter V10 engine now makes a total of 645 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque, while the car’s fuel economy rating has been bumped up by one mile per gallon on the highway for a total of 20 MPG.

Dodge has currently suspended production of the two top trim levels of the car, the track-focused TA and high-end GTS trim, to focus on getting some of the lower priced models made. The new GT trim level offers customers some track day goodies like driver-selectable suspension and a five-mode stability control system, along with interior upgrades like Alcantara and Nappa leather seats with accent stitching.

There is also a rumor floating around that the Viper will get a new all-aluminum 8.4-liter V10 in 2016 that will crank out at least 800 hp. Ever since the supercharged Hellcat engine was introduced into the Dodge Challenger and Charger, making 707 hp, the brand’s halo car lost some of its luster, as customers can get more power for less money. A convertible model is also rumored to be in the works for 2016.
