A trio of Ford vehicles are under investigation for a steering issue.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has opened a probe on the 2010-2012 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ as well as the 2010-2011 Mercury Milan after complaints of the power-assisted steering suddenly failing on the midsize sedans.
