A photo showing a scale model of the upcoming Porsche 911 GT3 RS is offering another look at Porsche’s upcoming road legal race car.

Last time a leaked image showed the car, there wasn’t anything to specifically suggest that it was, in fact, the rumored GT3 RS. This time the picture shows the toy car sitting on top of a pedestle that actually shows that name. Dutch site AutoGespot posted the picture and claims that the crazier version of the 991 GT3 will retain the naturally aspirated engine used in the GT3, but that it will be tuned for more power.

The GT3 RS will borrow its body from the 911 Turbo for added track width and it will also gain more aggressive body parts to create more downforce than the already-extreme GT3. Porsche will only a seven-speed PDK gearbox rather than a manual, but it will be the same specialized PDK being used in the GT3. The report also suggests that Porsche is adding a feature that will limit the vehicle’s in a pit lane.

Porsche was previously expected to release the GT3 RS last summer, but the engine fire recall that grounded all GT3 models put that plan on hold and there still hasn’t been any word about when the RS model will arrive.
