The Maybach nameplate is back, with the 12-cylinder Mercedes-Maybach S600, which was revealed today at the 2014 LA Auto Show.

Under the hood of this beast is a 6.0-liter biturbo V12 with 523 hp and 612 lb-ft of torque, which is good enough to launch it from 0-62 MPH in five seconds with a top speed of 155 MPH. But we all know that awesome horsepower and acceleration is what makes this Maybach shine.

If you’re lucky enough to be in the Maybach’s target demographic you’ll be more interested in the car’s luxury features and extra roominess. There’s an extra 6.3 inches of legroom in the rear, to accommodate the most VIP-minded folks.

The rear compartment includes an on-board bar that comes with two silver champagne flutes. The second row seats recline and have calf supports built in. There is even a “chauffeur mode” that allows the front passenger seat to slide three inches farther forward than the normal S-Class allows to offer even more space for someone in the rear to relax.

Because the S600 is a catered to those who don’t like to wait for things, it’ll be in showrooms very soon. Mercedes plans to begin delivering copies to its U.S. dealer network starting in April, 2015. For now, check out the video below for more details.
