The Mitsubishi Outlander is getting a facelift and a fresh batch of spy photos are offering an early peek at what is coming.

As expected with a typical mid-cycle refresh, the Outlander will get a new front end grille, lights and bumper while the rear will also be outfitted with new tail lights. AutoGuide.com‘s spy photographers also caught photos of the interior which reveal a Rockford Fosgate stereo in the dash.

The 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander will debut later this year and will come standard with a six-speed manual transmission while a CVT will be available as an option. For the U.S. market, expect a six-speed automatic to be available with the 3.0-liter V6 engine.

The facelifted Outlander will likely bridge the gap until the Japanese automaker readies the next-generation Outlander that is expected to arrive in 2017.
