Dodge has come up with a new way to try and get Vipers to sell, something the brand has had trouble with in the past.

A new program is being launched that will allow customers to customize their Viper so that their car will be 1-of-1. The Viper GTC, as the new model is called, has over 25 million total combinations stemming from 8,000 exterior color options, 24,000 custom stripe colors, 10 wheel options, 16 interior trims and 6 aero packages that can be chosen. Once a customer has ordered a certain configuration, no other customer can order that car within the same year, including the color.

Once a customer has configured their car online, Dodge will send them a 1:18 scale model showing them exactly what those colors will look like before they confirm the color choice.

A new concierge service is also being introduced with the program. This will be the customers main point of contact for their car who will provide the customer with details about the build process as it is undertaken. Buyer’s will be able to track the progress of their very own Viper via a new website that will track exactly what is being done to the car at the present time.

Once the Viper is built, customers can have it shipped to their nearest dealer or they can pick it up at the Connor Ave. assembly plant, which will include a plant tour.

The base 2015 Viper starts at $84,995, while the new Viper GTC model starts at $94,995. Along with the announcement, Dodge released a new documentary showing how the car is built.
