Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG Sport Video, First Look

Mercedes-Benz is bridging the gap between its standard production models and its high-performance AMG variants.

At the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, the German automaker showed off its new C450 AMG Sport 4MATIC model that is based on the C400 sedan but has a plethora of AMG parts including a revised front bumper, diamond mesh intake covers, a rear diffuser, trunk spoiler and more. Standard interior upgrades include performance seats with AMG stitching.

Under the hood, the 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine has been massaged to generate 362 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque allowing it to accelerate to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The model also benefits from numerous AMG suspension components found on the C63 AMG model.
