A new set of spy photos has revealed that Jaguar is busy developing an even hotter version of its top sports car.

Back in January, we reported that a faster, more powerful version of the F-Type was coming and now we have the proof.

The F-Type RS adds all of the essential elements of a go-fast variant: larger air intakes, an aggressive front fascia, larger wheels with bigger carbon ceramic brakes, improved aerodynamics and of course, more power. The supercharged 5.0-liter V8 currently makes 550 hp in its most potent form, but will likely churn out about 600 ponies in the RS model.

In these photos we see an F-Type RS Roadster hitting the streets, though an RS coupe is certainly going to join the lineup in the future.

We don’t know exactly when Jaguar will decide to officially reveal the new RS models, but it may be as soon as the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
