Mercedes G-Class Gets Crazy New Colors

For those who think the G-Class isn’t striking enough, Mercedes now offers some crazy new colors to choose from.

The company has just added the “Crazy Color Edition” versions of the AMG-powered G-Glass to its lineup, which opens up a vibrant palette of paint finishes for the boxy vehicle, including this head-turning shade of green that is on display at the Canadian International Auto Show.

The Crazy Color Edition G-Glass AMGs are not cheap. In fact, you could buy a compact car for the price of Solar Beam shade, which adds over $17,000 to the price tag of your Benz. The most expensive version is the Galactic Beam, which rings in at around $22,500.

No pricing was provided for the Alien Green color shown above.

Helping to add a bit more flair to the Crazy Color Edition vehicles, the bumpers, wheel arches and side-steps are done up in Obsidian Black paint. The extra fashion makes its way into the cabin too, where the car gets matching stitching on the seats, dash, door panels, and center console.

Although we’d argue that the 536 horsepower G63 AMG and 612 hp G65 AMG are already special trucks, the Crazy Colors Editions helps add a little bit more exclusiveness to the luxury SUV.

Currently on sale, deliveries of the first Crazy Color Edition G-Class models will begin this March.
