So where did Volkswagen cut corners to offer a cheaper variant? According to the company, the e-Golf Limited Edition changes compared to the SEL Premium model include 16-inch steel wheels instead of aluminum-alloys, halogen headlights instead of LED units, cloth instead of leatherette seating in the cabin and removal of the heat-pump system.

Standard features that do carry over include DC Fast Charging capability, keyless access with push-button start, navigation system, LED daytime running lights, Climatronic dual-zone climate control system, electronic parking brake, electrically-heated windshield, automatic headlights and wipers, rearview camera and front and rear Park Distance Control.
