Jaguar is testing its new performance crossover at the Nürburgring.

When Jaguar first announced the F-Pace, the brand said it would prioritize performance driving, so it’s no surprise to see the crossover hitting the race track.

The F-Pace will be built on the new aluminum architecture that underpins the Jaguar XE and is likely to share engines with that car, which means a turbocharged four cylinder and a supercharged V6 will be offered. A diesel engine is another likely option.

The new F-Pace will be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September of this year, while it is expected to reach U.S. dealers in 2016.
