LEGO Ferrari F40 is a Sexy Pile of Bricks

The last model approved by Enzo Ferrari is now available in LEGO form.

The LEGO Ferrari F40 is being released to the general public starting August 1 and comes in the form of an 1,158-piece set priced at $89.99.

As part of the LEGO Creator Series, the Ferrari 40 is finished in red with black accents, just like any iconic Ferrari should. Those in the LEGO VIP club can get their lucky hands on the LEGO Ferrari F40 starting July 15. For $90, you won’t just get a cool-looking LEGO model car that sits pretty, as the Ferrari F40 also has fully operational doors and rear hatch and an engine that can be entirely removed.

The hood even opens up to reveal a luggage compartment while pop-up headlights also accent the front end. Exclusive to the LEGO Ferrari F40 are custom molded rim inserts that makes it even all the more collectible. Fully constructed, it’ll measure over 10-inches long, five-inches wide and three-inches tall.
