The track-only Aston Martin Vulcan has made contact in the U.S.

One of the 24 race-track ready cars has been shipped to Aston Martin Cleveland and will be on display on Nov. 27 and 28 in an event the dealer is calling the “Black Friday Vulcan Experience.”

A video on the dealership’s Facebook page shows the car on a short test drive on city streets. Problem is, the car is not street legal, so the roads had to be shut down by local police in order for the Vulcan to drive on Cleveland’s roads.

Every Vulcan uses a 7.0-liter V12 that makes over 800 horsepower, send straight to the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential gearbox. This car actually has a better power-to-weight ratio than the GTE race cars that compete for the brand in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Top speed for the car is pegged at over 200 mph.
