Luxury watchmaker Bell & Ross has unveiled a supercar concept called the AeroGT.

Making its debut at the Baselworld watch and jewelry trade event in Switzerland, the AeroGT isn’t a sign of things to come from Bell & Ross, as the timepiece maker created the AeroGT as a marketing exercise to generate buzz. In other words, don’t expect Bell & Ross to begin manufacturing supercars anytime soon. There is, however, a line of watches called the BR 03 AeroGT series that is inspired by the supercar concept.

According to Bell & Ross, inspiration from the AeroGT concept came from the worlds of aeronautics and grand touring, which is how its name is derived. Powering the AeroGT is a 4.2-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 602 horsepower sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The company said that it goes zero to 60 mph in under three seconds and has a top speed close to 200 mph and weighs under 3,000 pounds.

“Every year, in order to create new models, I need new sources of inspiration,” said Bruno Belamich, creative director at Bell & Ross. “The aim was to produce a car that can hold its own, even amongst automotive professionals.”
