It looks like the 2017 Range Rover Sport SVR is set to get even more power thanks to the new Jaguar F-Type SVR.

The Jaguar F-Type SVR bowed at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show as the British automaker’s fastest series production vehicle yet packing 575 horsepower, and it looks like its performance will be heading to the Range Rover Sport SVR.

The current Range Rover Sport SVR is a high-performance luxury SUV boasting 550 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque from a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine, the same engine used by F-Type SVR. In the sports car it makes 575 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, figures that will likely be mirrored when the Range Rover Sport SVR gets a small update for the 2017 model year.

That means the Range Rover Sport SVR should see its zero-to-62 mph sprint in the 4.5-second range. There will also be some slight changes to the exterior, with larger intake vents to support the added performance.

Rumor has it that the updated model will arrive along with the rest of the facelifted Range Rover Sport range as early as next year.
