Volkswagen has rolled out a new special edition of the Beetle known as the #PinkBeetle.

The special edition, which VW claims is the first vehicle to be named with a hashtag, will be offered as a coupe and convertible and will hit dealers this fall. Under the hood, a 1.8-liter engine hooked to a six-speed automatic transmission will supply 170 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.

As can be expected, a unique shade of Fresh Fuschia Metallic paint coats the car while gloss-black mirror caps and black running board offer a contrasting look. Both coupe and convertible models offer Bi-Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights and LED rear license plate lighting,

Inside, pink accents are found throughout while cloth seats are fitted with a plaid insert. VW’s latest MIB II infotainment system is fitted which offers VW Car-Net, App-Connect, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
