The 2017 Porsche Panamera will be fully revealed today at 8:10pm CEST (2:10pm EST) and you can watch the event live.

After seeing numerous teasers and even some leaked images, the real 2017 Porsche Panamera will be unveiled at a special event tonight. Its design won’t be changed dramatically, though it has been nipped and tucked in a few areas to rid itself of the bulbous looks of the current Panamera.

An all-new platform will now underpin the car, bringing with it about 200 lbs of weight loss, while the powerplants will be heavily revised. Turbocharged six- and eight-cylinder engines are both expected to still be offered along with a plug-in hybrid model and a diesel.

Early spy photos tipped that the Panamera lineup will have multiple body styles including a station wagon, previewed by the Sport Turismo Concept from the 2012 Paris Motor Show. A long-wheelbase option is another strong possibility, while a five-door coupe has been rumored as an offering as well.

On the inside, Porsche wants to clean up the cluttered dash with less buttons.

There are still plenty of details yet to be revealed, so be sure to watch the live stream and check back to AutoGuide.com for more details on the Panamera.
