2017 Lincoln Continental Recalled for Headlight Issue
The 2017 Lincoln Continental has just recently arrived but is already facing a recall.
According to the American automaker, the HID headlights on the Lincoln Continental may have been assembled using LED lenses that don’t have the correct lens optics to comply with federal visibility requirements for turn signals. Lincoln is unaware of any accidents related to the issue and the recall affects 1,876 units assembled from June 14 to September 23 at Ford’s Flat Rock factory.
A spokesperson confirmed to Autoblog that only about 300 vehicles have been delivered to customers and most of the affected units are in the U.S., with 49 in Canada and one in a federalized territory.

Owners of affected vehicles can contact the Lincoln service program to have their Continental picked up, fixed for free and returned. If necessary, the company will replace the headlight assemblies in order to fix the issue.

This thing's on sale already? They haven't even hosted a media drive program yet (that I'm aware of).
