A one-of-one 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will cross the auction block in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The American automaker has announced it will auction an all-new one-of-a-kind F-150 Raptor at the 46th annual Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale event from Jan. 14-22 with all proceeds benefiting JDRF, the country’s leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes research. The winning bidder of Lot No. 3004 will become the owner of the last 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor produced and will get to choose from a unique one-of-one Raptor color. The auction will be sold with no reserve.
Also taking place at the auction, Ford president and CEO Mark Fields will announce Raptor Assault, a program at Ford Performance Racing School. It will start in April and Ford will offer all 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor buyers an opportunity to attend the program for free, although they will have to pay for transportation and lodging. Attendees will receive instruction in off-road driving techniques, including rock crawling and other driving skills.
